One of those moments...

What would you do if someone told you.... 'You are dying'.
That was Thelma's dilemma some days ago, she had a health scare.

Curious as usual, the first and worst thing she did was google the symptoms.

The results the search engine brought out was even a death sentence of some sort.

According to Google, she had cancer.

TGIF.... Cheers to the weekend

"Finally, its Friday! TGIF," Bisi, my colleague said.
Smiling, I said..."Abi! this week was kinda slow, i'm happy its over".
"So, what plans do you have for the weekend?", she asked curiously.
In my usual indifferent tone i said, " Nothing oh, I'm just gonna sleep till my eyes hurt".
She laughed at me and said "So you have no plans, Na wa  oh. You are boring."
We both laughed.
Then I stopped to think.... HAVE I GOTTEN BORING?
And just like that, reality dawned on me, "I WAS INDEED BORING."
With that realisation, I got terrified.
BORING was never a word synonymous with Thelma.

Thelma!
Thelma!
"Are you not ready to go home?"
I looked up to see my colleague already at the door, ready to head out.
"Not yet i'm still working on a report", I said, while smiling at her.
I could already guess what she was thinking. (This one sef too like office)

Its exactly 8.30pm and I haven't moved from my PC since 4 hours.

And the funny thing is i didn't even realize.

That's just a typical day for me.

I'm a Journalist.

Hello and Welcome ....

After years of procrastinating, I’ve finally succeeded in creating my own Blog... 'Diary of a Lagos Workaholic'.
I'm super excited, cos i barely have time to do this but i promise to try my best to keep this blog updated. SO HELP ME GOD.... lol
I also promise to keep this blog interesting, and fun.
The 'Diary of a Lagos Workaholic' blog is basically a series about Thelma Black... she's kinda a fictional character.
She lives in Lagos, Nigeria the busiest city in the African continent. She's also a journalist. Ok, its kinda about ME.
You see why i'm excited.
I promise not to bore you with details.
And take note, some of the posts here may just be fiction of my creative imaginations. I won't indicate though.
I'm a writer so i like to spice things up.
So lets do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
